Kevin E. Ness
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW

I have 25 years of experience working with at-risk youth (12 years old and up), adults, families and couples. I partner with them to help them overcome significant difficulties and trauma from the past, including sexual, physical and emotional abuse and neglect. I firmly believe that identity (who you are) and behavior (what you do) are two distinct things. Your behavior does not determine your identity. I help my clients to examine core beliefs that are contributing to their current difficulties, to help them to decide which ones are true and helpful, and which ones are not, to bring about true and lasting change.

I am a certified EMDR therapist and have also been trained in TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in helping people work through PTSD, Complex Trauma, Addictions Issues, Sexual abuse and perpetration, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and relational difficulties, among others.

For those who so desire, I specialize in integration of Christian faith into sessions, in a manner that is comfortable for clients at any stage in their faith walk. I believe that as long as you have breath and a pulse, then healing, redemption, forgiveness, growth, maturity, hope and change are absolutely real possibilities for those open to them.
